INTEGRITY. QUALITY. CONNECTION.
I’ve been driven by a quest for excellence since I was a child. I decided to earn my real estate license in 1999 after a lackluster experience with an agent during the purchase process of my first home. I was confident I could bring more value into the real estate transaction and I’ve embraced that quest for nearly 25 years.
During my first years in the business I came to better understand why I was disappointed with my first purchase experience. Even the locally owned and operated company I joined after graduating from real estate school embraced a corporate style training program that primarily focused on the volume of transactions; capture the lead, close the deal. Do it again. Conveyor belt. It wasn’t my style, I wasn’t interesting in capturing anything, I was interested in cultivating relationships and working to deliver real value to my clients every step of the way.
I left that company in short order and a few years later founded eightline real estate. The eightline mark itself represents the client as the beginning and the end of all of my work, it always returns to the client, standing together when a transaction is over, confident that we worked together for their best benefit.
Sometimes it’s pointing out poor quality construction or calling attention to a new development slated to built down the street. Sometimes it’s deep research into planning and zoning or conversations with neighbors about the intimate history of a parcel. Sometimes it’s hours in the house writing notes, revealing it’s best features or a granular market analysis to hone in on price and value. Sometimes it’s all of these things, and it’s always leveraging the best that I’ve got for the benefit of my clients.

It’s an uncommon occasion that I work with someone who doesn’t come back to work together again when the they have a real estate need, and I like it that way, it’s the common characteristic of the eightline mark, what goes around comes around.
Beyond the real estate essentials, I was recently selected to represent Salt Lake City, Utah as a host of the Emmy nominated and Telly award winning national television network, ADTV. I’m excited to leverage this resource to further explore and share meaningful connections in our communities through inspiring, local stories about real estate, lifestyle, and culture!
